Galvanising is one of the most widely used methods for protecting metal from corrosion. It can be both, cold or hot-dip galvanizing, depending on the method used for applying zinc on the metal surface. Galvanised products are a cost effective alternative to using materials such as stainless steel or aluminium; they are suitable for welding and for high-temperature applications of up 200 °C.
